Janice will be based in the company\u2019s Pasadena headquarters and will report to OpenX Chief Technology Officer Michael Radovancevich. In her new role, Janice will lead OpenX\u2019s User Experience (UX) team to enhance the design and functionality of the company\u2019s offerings for publishers and buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJanice brings world-class user experience design and a passion for developing rich, engaging and powerful enterprise platforms,\u201d said Michael Radovancevich. \u201cWe have a profound vision for the future of programmatic advertising and will benefit immensely from her ability and experience. Her track record for leading multi-disciplinary teams will play an integral role in shaping our entire product platform.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Janice has held various user experience leadership positions spanning her career of more than 25 years. Recently, Janice was the Vice President, User Experience at PubMatic, where she was responsible for cross-platform research, design, and front-end development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to PubMatic, Janice built and led UX teams at AT&amp;T, Experian, World Savings Bank, Siebel Systems, and Sun Microsystems, beginning her career at Stanford University and Apple. She has extensive experience creating market-leading designs for web applications, websites, mobile apps, interactive TV, software, and hardware design. Janice is one of the pioneers in the field of UX, and was a founding board member and past president of the Usability Professionals\u2019 Association (now UXPA). She worked with Vice President Gore\u2019s office and members of Congress to raise awareness about the economic benefits of user experience. Janice has contributed to defining design standards used across the industry. She has numerous publications and has presented at over 50 conferences worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI deeply respect OpenX\u2019s commitment and ability to deliver industry-changing products, and I look forward to working alongside the team of incredibly smart and talented professionals,\u201d said Janice Rohn. \u201cAcross the industry, ad tech is not considered to be intuitive or user friendly, and I admire OpenX for changing that perception with their solutions.
