OpenX, the world\u2019s leading independent advertising technology provider, today announced the appointment of Michael Martin as VP of Global DSP Partnerships. Michael joins OpenX after more than 10 years at Google where he most recently served as head of sales, media & platforms for DoubleClick and previously held leadership roles for DBM, AdX and other teams within Google\u2019s advertising business. In his new role, Michael will lead OpenX\u2019s global demand team that partners with 400+ DSPs and 34,000+ advertisers, spanning 190 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Michael will also play a key role in supporting OpenX\u2019s larger push into mobile and video, supporting the company\u2019s global DSP relationships as they continue to expand to new screens and formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to OpenX, Michael led sales and business development teams for Google\u2019s DoubleClick Bid Manager, Campaign Manager, Ad Exchange and Google Analytics, working with a diverse group of leading brands, agencies and DSPs. In these roles, Michael identified key growth opportunities and successfully executed product strategies across desktop, mobile and video formats, helping the DBM business grow over 130% in 2017.
